I have a 2018 ecosport see, and I was curious if I can put 16” wheels on it instead of using the 17” wheel that it comes with from factory.

Yes, you can. 16 is a normal size for the EcoSport.

My summer wheels are 18.5 with a 42 offset, no issues even lowered. I believe the base comes with 16's so you should be good to go. Tirerack.com seems to have the best deals from what I have seen, your milage may vary
