Transmission problem after changing battery

Batteries aren't usually changed out so early in during ownership. What seems to be wrong with the transmission?

I don't see how a battery swap could impact the performance of the transmission. Some options will have likely reset, but that shouldn't be causing any problems. Are you just concerned about swapping the battery or are you currently experiencing issues as a result?

I heard that some weird codes might get thrown which can be easily cleared at your local dealership.
It might also help to ask your dealer if there's a TSB out on this for the EcoSport.
