Yes, there is a round, black cap... maybe 1.25" diameter on the right side. It is hard to see and reach so I ended up removing the airbox to make it easier to remove the cap and place a long funnel when I changed the trans oil.

would a '21 ecosport with a 1.0 be the same? I use the car for a TON of start / stop driving and would really like too change the fluid every 50K like I have done on previous cars...From the Service Manual
Yes. The transmissions are all the same, FWD or 4WD. There is only one transmission in US cars.would a '21 ecosport with a 1.0 be the same? I use the car for a TON of start / stop driving and would really like too change the fluid every 50K like I have done on previous cars...
Negative, they are not the same. The plug to check the oil level is in a different location and different size M20 vs M10 for the 2.0 literYes. The transmissions are all the same, FWD or 4WD. There is only one transmission in US cars.
4WDs have a transfer case and a rear diff, but the trannies are identical.

If you look at step 16 of the PDF he shared it does state the difference. He's not being terse, you just didn't take the time to read the material he already shared which makes you the rude on here.It makes no mention of any differences in the trannies. Instead of being terse, maybe explain clearly.
