I have a 2018 and recently when I press the button under the light I hear the release noise but the tailgate will not open. I have read that I may need to replace the Tailgate Boot lock and see many replacements parts and videos for 2013-2017 but none for 2018 and above. Does anyone know where to find this part for 2018 or is it the same part that is on the 2017. Thanks for any advice help you can provide.
I hope you get it figured out. Some folks have suggested a faulty solenoid is the culprit, but I honestly don't know. I haven't read about anybody fixing it, or telling us what they did.
