Reviewing several posts here, I think this will be an excellent resource to help know more about my 2018 EcoSport SE FWD 1.0 liter Ecoboost. I am the second owner (knew the first owner and his uses of the car). Had about 42K miles.

Did a roadtrip from L.A. to Lone Pine, California, in February (about 430 miles roundtrip, freeway and highway) and I was impressed by its road handling. Now that I've replaced the original tires and had the brake pads done, driving is even more pleasurable. I look forward to learning more from this group. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! I live in Southern Utah and finally visited LA for the first time last summer....we definitely want to go back. I've always wanted to visit Lone Pine too.

Thank you. We expect to visit my brother and sister-in-law at their St. George condo in June. That should put my SE to a good test. ;)

It'll definitely be a test for the 1.0L coming up out of LA haha

I agree! We did well in the Sepulveda Pass and the long climb out of the San Fernando Valley into the Antelope Valley on our way to Lone Pine. But I will be interested to see how it handles the Cajon Pass, Baker Grade, Mountain Pass near the Nevada border, and the very long, gradual incline out of southern Nevada into the Virgin River Gorge on Interstate 15. ;)
