Hello Everyone!
I Just picked up my brand new 2022 EcoSport SE last Monday.
I had been waiting for the truck since April. I had a 2017 Focus and it was totaled in April.
So far it has been a really good truck.
I already have installed the Weather Tech liners in this truck. BTW the 2020 Weather Tech liners will fit the 2022 SE. My sister has a 2020 SES that I checked out if and how it would fit in my truck. The Weather Tech liners were outstanding in my Focus before. I highly recommend them if you are thinking about purchasing.
I am waiting for some basic seat covers for the seats to keep the inside nice. I will also be tinting the windows shortly. I would also like to install a hood protector. I commute 70 miles a day and hoping the protector helps with rocks on highway.
I maybe interested in lifting the Ecosport after we lift my husbands Jeep Liberty.
Have a great day and Happy Driving!

For us it was kind of a compromise purchase. We had sold both our vehicles while overseas and had just bought a house so when we could finally buy a car, almost nothing was on the lot, especially at MSRP. Heck they wanted an ADM on the Ecosport but I balked and got them to waive it. I now have my Maverick too but there are some things I like better about driving the Ecosport. It's highly under rated. I am a little curious about how the 22 compares to the 21. There weren't any out yet when we bought our 21 new. Congrats OP!

I think this car is underrated, too. My SES is fun to drive, but it's not fast.
The '22 is identical to the '21, but in the US, you can only get the 2.0 4WD now. I had my eye on a yellow '22 SES, but it got sold before I could even look at it. I was ready to buy it and put a Tonka decal on the back! Oh, well.

Found a white '18 SES with only 13,000 miles and scooped it up. I didn't get a great deal, but it feels like a new car. I anticipate many trouble-free miles in my rugged little Eco.
One of the reasons I got it is because it shares a basic platform with the Fiesta. I have a Fiesta ST that is a real hoot to drive, and while the Eco is not the sports car the FiST is, it's surprisingly agile for a CUV. Way more fun to drive than I expected. Also, there are lots of folks putting lots of miles on them and they don't seem to have any major issues.

These cars are beloved in the 3rd world, and I can see why.

All I can say....thank god I didn't look at so-called "professional reviews" before I bought mine. It's not so much that they were dishonest as it was, they keep trying to compare it to cars that would cost you much more.

I have had performance cars, luxury cars and when I didn't care about that anymore, I bought my lowly Eco Sport. What a surprise. As I look back on the many brand-new cars that I have owned, this one ranks right at the top in satisfaction.....and it was half price what I paid for others.
