I leased a 2018 Titanium 4WD new and began hearing a banging/clunking/knocking sound from the rear whenever I would hit transitions at slow speeds, like turning into a driveway. Took it to my dealer and they said the rear passenger side shock absorber was bad, and replaced it under warranty. But now it's doing the same thing again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue? Is there something else that could be causing this? The car drives fine as far as I can tell, and otherwise has performed perfectly. But it's driving me nuts!

I have the same issue on my 2018 SE, I think some of it may be the flat kit or that board that covers it banging. I've isolated the cause of a squeaky grindy sound as a misaligned rear fender well. Right where the shock goes through.

Yes! I had the exact same issue, and the problem was caused by the spring hitting the shock when driving over bumps or road vibrators! Get your car up on a lift, and I'm sure you will find the cause there. Super easy fix!

I am also 18Titanium4WD My issue never happened until about a year & a half ago. So something changed (not sure what). But now, in addition to that, I now have a squeaky sound, again in the rear area, that happens whenever the vehicle hits a heave or something that makes the suspension "hop" (if that makes sense). I LOVE my car in every single other way, but these things are sucking all the fun out of driving it.
