Inexpensive light upgrade

I just replaced the high & low beam and fog lights on my 2020 Ecosport with LEDS. I have my old high & low beam and fog lights for sale. They are Sylvania ZXE bulbs, and are a little better than the stock bulbs. They are 2 years old and have 5000 miles use on them. I'm looking for $20.00 plus shipping for all of them. E-mail me at [email protected] if interested.

I used Auxito brand LEDS for my vehicle. The headlight and high beams installed with no problem. To install the fog lights, I had to cut out the plastic behind the light sockets for clearance. If I were going to do this again, I would have tried GTR mini bulbs. They are smaller and would probably be a better fit. Either way you will be happy with the difference!

I ordered this. Robot or human?

I'll let you all know how it goes.

That's a very low price. Curious to see results.

I got them, and they look plug-and play. It'll be a few days until I install them. It's ridiculously hot right now.
Well, after trying every which way, the only lights I was able to replace were the low beams. The high beams were too big to fit. I destroyed one of them just trying to get it in there. The fogs were downright scary. I even bought some body tools to try to get the trim off the front, but I was sure I would break something, so I gave up.

The good news is that the low beams are no longer useless.

The low beams are the real problem on this car, and the white ones are definitely better, so it's a wash. $34.09 still isn't a bad deal, but I think it's dumb that A: The high beams don't even fit, and B: The fogs are so dangerously fiddly, you're sure to break some plastic. If mine ever burn out, I'll take it to a body shop and let them risk breaking my stuff.

This guy's guide to replacing the fogs is essentially useless. No wonder he turned off the comments! LOL!

I very much recommend the low beams. Just buy them separately.
Thanks for sharing. Now I’ll be worried about buying LED bulbs and they won’t fit. I know the EcoSport is more popular in India, is there a website for aftermarket stuff based in that country?

Not that I know of. I know for sure that these lights work in the interior. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071LHP5WP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Yes. It looks better, stays cooler and draws less electricity. Win/win.
