so many of the pics do not show the letters and they look odd without them. I would imagine they all are sourced from one place, wondering if they all come with the letters

Not painted on the back side, but there's no reason to. I'm getting the car looked at tomorrow, so I'll see what it will cost to get it installed.

If you're handy, there are a couple YouTube vids on installing a grill for the EcoSport, plan on doing it myself in the spring

Yes. It doesn't look that difficult at all. I still don't know how he rigged the lights up, though.

Wow. If you can do that, I don't think you will have any problem installing your new grill. I'm a do it yourselfer, but I don't think I would have taken that on. Maybe I could do it, but I might panic once I got that far....and think....oh no...can I put this back together....lol.

I did do something similar about 10 years ago. I decided to replace the motor on the driver side window. There was a point or two where I thought...dam I should have let a professional do this. I did persevere, but I did push my skills to the limit.

I got to admit, it did give me great satisfaction that I pulled it off....let alone saved me a decent amount of cash.

Mine did. I suppose there's some sort of copyright reason for it, or maybe it's just so you can paint them a different color if you want.

There weren't. There were little guide holes, but they just screw into the plastic. I think they're on there good enough. I guess we'll see.

Don't trust the screws and 1/2 were too short on my kit. Heading to the hardware store for some washers and longer screws!

Have you installed it yet? I'm waiting until my fender gets fixed, which is still over a month away.

Anymore, it take me twice as long to do 1/2 as much. As soon as I see 2 days of clear weather, I'll be swapping them out. I did "phase-paint" the letters (blue to purple) which came out okay
