Saw these photos that were posted very recently (10 hours ago) of the Ford Ecosport testing on roads in India. That copper color is quite interesting. I'm wondering if we'll get that option in NA.

Some additional details are here (link below) and they've managed to point out some accessories within it.
The 2017 Ford EcoSport has substantial changes inside starting with the free-standing display at the centre of the dashboard, which is presumably for the SYNC 3 infotainment system. This system would offer Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite navigation, voice recognition and apps among other features, already available in Maruti, Hyundai and Mahindra vehicles. Lower grades of the EcoSport could settle for a 2-DIN audio system with a small display.

A new three-spoke steering wheel and centre console with horizontal central HVAC vents, dashboard grab bar and a more intuitive instrument panel complete the transformation. New trim and higher grade upholstery are expected to give the cabin a premium feel and look.

At the LA Auto Show there was an EcoSport wearing Copper paint. That's the best indication of it happening since they wouldn't bring an overseas version to one of the biggest shows. Especially when that overseas model is RHD.
It's actually a color I would consider, but I would need to see it in person in different lighting to be 100% sure. Looks like one of those colors that you wouldn't really notice if it was dirty or not which is always a good thing opposed to black.

Would you consider it ?

Not really since its better to keep your paint clean than to let things sit on it. I know a lot of people with car colors known to get dirty easily but have some of the best condition paint i've seen. Compared to people with silver and other colors that hide dirty and you find imperfections.
Well no I didn't mean in the sense of leaving it dirty all the time. I meant consider the color lol.

Any spy shots coming out now are irrelevant, since we already seen how production models look.

Here's one prime example of it from the Ford UK site:

and of course LA coverage I talked about...

Looking at the minor differences, the spyshot that I posted was for the India market, and I do think I'd much rather their headlights. Resembling what Europe typically gets with the lack of amber in the corner of the headlights.

Same here but now we don't have much of a choice unless you're willing to modify your headlights which on a brand new car can be a bit nerve wrecking. Probably at most I would install LED bulbs to make them fancy. Clear lens with switch back LED would be my goal.
