Your first oil change should not be too difficult. The factory oil filter shouldn't be anymore tight than usual, but I suppose it's possible. Sometimes you can take a shop rag and fold it over a few times, put it over the filter and try to loosen it...you get a little more leverage that way.
When you remove the old oil filter, make sure that the old gasket comes off the block with it (sometimes they stick). I would also suggest full synthetic oil, whatever weight the oil cap says (5w20?). I'm not a huge fan of Ford's Synthetic blend; we see too many Ecoboosts in with sludge issues.
