Ecosport vs T-Roc vs CX-3

Just wanted to share this comparison chart from AutoExpress that breaks down the figures of the Ecosport in relation to segment rivals. It looks like despite the styling updates and new cabin, the Ecosport is still coming up short in this very competitive class. The ST variant isn't nearly as sporty as you would expect and there are some concerns over build quality. Out of the 3 cars compared, the Ecosport was ranked last. Here's a look at how they compare on paper.

The Ford EcoSport really does have some tough competition when you look at these numbers but sales doesn't look too bad. They sold 11,373 in the States this year. What Ford should do is give it a midlife update to draw in more buyers and beat its rivals.

Ford simply has a lot to prove but they're in a good position due to the fact the EcoSport established itself for many years already. How sales play out is another story. CX-3 is already winning me over in the design department. This generation EcoSport might just be to test the waters till the real deal arrives.
The ecosport could use a design overhaul because it looks a bit dated compared to the more aggressive rivals that are on sale right now. Still a great piece of machinery, but it could look better.
The new Ecosport S did get some welcomed changes inside and out, but I am not sure if Ford plans on offering those variants outside of India. The cabin looks like it has been significantly improved over the current models. Rumor has it that Ford has also improved upon the acceleration lag that owners have been noting.
