Hello all, I have a 2021 SE 2.0 AWD, purchased new.

I work bail recovery and occasionally get files for an address that is a few miles off pavement or even gravel, and I absolutely cannot get stuck in some banjoland place with no support in a situation like that.

That being said, I am having 3" pucks along with some meaty 215/65/17s fitted. To compensate for this, are there any aftermarket options for shorter axle gears? I'm also interested in a performance air filter and a tuner, and would greatly appreciate some recommendations.

Thank you,
Kyle

I know of no shorter axle gears available for this car. K&N makes a filter for this car, but sadly there aren't a lot of performance parts for the 2.0. The turbo engines can be tuned, but the NA engines are mostly overlooked.

Thank you for the response! Do you by chance have a link or part number? My search shows a few very different K&N products for my make/model.

Thanks,
Kyle

No problem. Ford EcoSport Air Filter
They put a lot of different engines in this car, worldwide. Looks like they all take the same filter. Anything 2018 or after, it will fit.

I ended up making my own CI using left over parts from another turbo install (2" 90) and a K&N cylinder filter. There is a lot of real-estate available once the stock airbox is removed

After changing the charge inlet, I modified a K&N CI for a Fiesta. I did have to fab up a plate (gray) to convert from a Mas air to inlet temp sensor. Until I can find someone with a 3-D printer, I'm going to try mod'ing the K&N Mas air adaptor plate using JB weld. The only thing I needed to do was to shorten the support bracket provided in the kit and slightly bend it, drill a hole and mount it to the core support. This took less than a 1/2-hour.

That's a clean looking install.
