Has anyone actually seen a Color Chip of what this new EcoSport Diamond White looks like? Hope fully it looks better then the ancient Oxford White!

I think it should look something like this, though the photo look a bit blurry. Actually not bad, but it just looks like normal white to me with a bit of a pearl sheen.
Can't see any photos above so something may have went wrong. But so far based on photos that I've been seeing, I can't really see any pearl in it. It just looks more of a perfect white opposed to an eggshell white that has some sort of yellow-ish hue to it? Here's a photo of a 16' model in Diamond White

My biggest issue with colors is not the color itself but how they are used. If Ford kept these all in one body color ES's would look better.

This Ford KA is a prime example of that:

You're going to have to clarify that one. So you rather the color only be used for the EcoSport specifically and not share it with other models like the Ford KA ?
Since the "S" Series EcoSport will not have available to the extra cost paint upgrade of "Pearl White Metallic Tri-Coat" as a choice, was looking for (any) White other then Ford`s 40 year old Utility Truck color Oxford White. Enough of the Oxford White. Time to refresh an move on already!
Just another note, Ford claims the 2018 EcoSport will be available in "10" Paint Colors. Ford Fleet info shows but (8) and Media/Ford.com shows no Paint options to date. The "Scheduled Order Bank" opens in just 10 days so Dealers should soon have the information to start submitting their first to be delivered "Stock Orders". JOB1 Date is first week in Sept. 30 to 60 days at Sea depending on West Coast or East Coast Delivery Port. Literally coming from the other side of the Globe!

that depends where you got your information from and which market its for because I see 10 color options for markets in the eastern part of the world and there's no official word on North American color options, not USA or Canada.
India is getting 7 color options for the 2017 Ford Ecosport.

Ford EcoSport is available in 7 different colors - Diamond White, Golden Bronze, Kinetic Blue-Ford Ecosport, Mars Red, Moondust Silver-Ford Ecosport, Panther Black, Smoke Grey

Oh yeah you're right, even the Ford website shows 7 colors here: https://www.india.ford.com/suvs/ecosport/ guess that article I read from gaadi.com has their information wrong.
Which of those colors listed above would you be most interested in?
Orange appeal to me big time. Part of that has to do with how much Ford Marketing has pushed it but the other end is how well it suits the design. Other colors seem out of place or just like it doesn't fit in.
Scheduled Order Bank is open. You would think by now, US Ford Dealerships would have Ordering Guide Information including what Paint Color offering will be available for US Buyers?
Orange is really different and definitely not a common color to see on the streets. Where you're located, are there a lot of "out there" colors?

I'm in the states and yes there's a lot of colors that pop over here as you can expect in any industry leading market. but colors like that orange have become a norm for Ford, Focus ST is a great example of this.
No hard evidence that any White other then the Premium Tri-Coat Metallic will be available. No standard White Paint Option?
I'm not too sure.. typically you would see two different white options or at least a standard white but I guess not? I don't really mind. I wonder how much more, if it'll be more expensive, the tri-coat white would be.
Fiesta Sedan has a couple colors to choose from, them being White Platinum and Oxford White. So with them having done this already to a new vehicle good chance either one of those colors could make it to some North American spec EcoSport from the way I see it.
On Ford`s Blue Oval News Owner`s Web Site, the amended Order Guide was posted via a PDF File. It list`s (2) White Paint selections. One being the extra cost White Ceramic Metallic Tri-Coat and the other being Diamond White Paint Code "ZA". It appears that Diamond White is a non-metallic Paint. Hopefully it will be an improvement over the ancient Oxford White which has been around for several decades. Why Ford continues to use the same Utility Truck paint on its Passenger Vehicles is very odd.
Don't know what sales number are like but as you can expect if Diamond White is still being sold in good numbers then I guess its enough of a reason for them to continue offering it. You know what they say... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
