B&O subwoofer upgrade possible?

Hey everyone! I have a 2020 Ecosport with a B&O audio system and I want to add on a JL audio 10W6 and a 2000 watt amp to the factory subwoofer system. I saw a thread about adding in a 4 channel amp and another amp for add on subwoofer. I want to only do the subwoofer amp add on to my B&O sound system, is that possible or no? If it is, do I use the same adapters as the ones in the thread about adding in a 4 channel and sub amps?

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't know jack about sound systems.

These days, I'm kind of like XR650R I have no clue. Back in the day when 8 track was king, I could hook them up almost blindfolded. With today's cars complicated electrical systems along with all the minicomputers, I wouldn't dare try. I would probably fry the whole system....lol.

However, I might be able point you to a couple of resources that might help.

The first is Crutchfield

Let me be clear, I'm not trying to promote them in any way. But I can say, I have bought many things from them over the years with no regrets. They are not the cheapest, but they have excellent customer service and a very knowledgeable staff. They can tell you what's doable or not.

The other is the AVS Forums

When it comes to audio/video, they have a category covering pretty much anything you may be interested in.
