Auto Shut Off

This isn’t really a huge issue but since owning the car it has never once done the auto shut off at a light. The only reason I’m curious why it hasn’t is I was told if it detects an issue it won’t do the shut off trick.

I'd take it to Auto Zone or someplace like that and get it scanned. It won't do it if it thinks the battery is too low.
Mine works (when I forget to turn it off! lol).
I scanned it myself and nothing and did an alternator test and that’s good too. All well
there is an option on the menu too disable the auto stop... go into your vehicle setting and see if it is disabled...
Yes, that is it. I would have taken a pic, but I am not neat my car.
I don’t have the manual… does the check indicate that auto engine is turned off or Auto Engine Off is enabled. My brain reads it both ways lol

it is was checked when I found the option

I believe if it is check marked, it is enabled.... but I could be wrong too.

I have the 2020 SES AWD too my friend and just recently unchecked that. It automatically shuts off the engine a few seconds depending in how much of the battery I'm using ( meaning lights on, sound system on, ac on and depending on the ambient temperature of the car). It automatically starts the engine again once I release the brake pedal. But I'll get back to you some time tomorrow when I get the manual from the car. It's night time and kind of cold right now here and I got arthritis. 😆
