I'm looking to buy a set of winter rims and tires for my 2018 SES. The standard size is 205/50/17 for the summer tires. I'm wondering if a set of 205/60/16s will fit on the SES? Will they clear the calipers or cause any issues?

Take a look at tirerack.com. They show many 16" rims and allow you to see what they look like. Not suggesting you need to buy from them, but their configuration tools allow you to explore options.

They'll fit. Just. We've got our winter tires mounted on 16" rims.

Mounted a set of general arctic 225 x55x16 on my se....bought steel rims and hub caps on amazon. worked great.
