Wife just got this car

after searching through all the small suvs we settled on this little ecosport. We found a leftover 2018 4x4 titanium and got it for 19,980 out the door price. here is a pic of it picking it up last night.

Hey @Mizzou.Mike , congrats on the EcoSport.
How are you finding gas mileage to be? Are you keeping track of it on a site like fuelly?

Agree.
Ford just needs to do more now to make it sportier.
They did well with pricier Ford products. Time to give the ES some of that action!

I am using fuelly to track the mileage and see what other owner are doing as far as mpg. with 5000 miles on my 2018se, my total average is 29.6 with a high of 37 and a low of 21. been experimenting with all three grades of fuel. get higher mpg and more pep on high test, but dont know if it is worth the extra .50 per gallon. there is a wide range of mpg of the ecosports on fuelly, some with engines not available in the us. check it out!

Id say youre right on track. Been watching mine with a 2.0, and get 29.5-30 regularly using 87 octane. Only time it dips is when the wifey drives it..........

have been tracking mpg on fuelie since we purchased our 2018 ecosport se. after 6000 miles we are averaging about 30.5 mpg overall with a high of 37 and a low of 21. I have also discovered that the indicated mpg on the info screen is super generous. my last fillup, the car indicated 36.1 vs an actual of 32.3. I have tried running it on midgrade and hi-test gas. the car seems peppier with the higher octane with better mpg, but is it really worth the extra 40 to 50 cents per gallon? checking out some other ecosports on fuely I wonder if the owners are using the evic mileage or the actual mileage divided by gallons!
